Nodepet is a male from Germany, whose music can be defined best as electro acoustic expressionism: While the sound elements draw heavily from field recordings, clicks and cuts, laptop music, ambient textures and noise, the overall result is unfamiliar but undoubtedly listenable: There are sudden changes or interruptions, piano and forte, harmony and dissonance, tension and relaxation, but also a common thread and sophisticated structures. The music's complexity and originality are probably its most outstanding features compared to other netlabel artists in the experimental electro acoustics genre.
